Dr. Robert Hyland Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Applicants must be second year transfer students in a Science or Engineering relate major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference given to students 25 years or older. Students with children and/or spouse will be given preference.

Appropriate majors include: Associates of Science and/or transfer students in Pre-Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, General Science, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.

The intent of this scholarship is to help transfer students in engineering and science majors who are transferring to a four-year school to complete their education.

A thank-you letter to the LBCC Foundation and attendance at the Scholarship Reception is expected.

Requires a minimum GPA of 3.0
Student’s year at LBCC when receiving award: Second Year LBCC
Scholarships can be used for: Tuition/fees, books, childcare, living expenses and/or special needs.
Award Amount: $1750.00

Enrollment requirement per term: 12 or more credit hrs.
Term(s) award to be paid: Winter, Spring
