Zonta Service Foundation of Corvallis - LBCC Career Technical Education Scholarship

Zonta Service Foundation of Corvallis is offering two LBCC Career Technical Education (CTE) scholarships. Each scholarship offers $500 per term to help cover tuition, frees, books, and supplies charged to a recipient’s account at LBCC.

Applicants must be committed to a career in a technology. Preference is to women entering the field or profession where women are underrepresented. Must be enrolled at LBCC in a CTE program. Applicants must be interested in improving the lives of others and/or serving as a role model for other women. Students with volunteer or work experiences that demonstrate this interest will be given preference. Must be a Oregon resident. Preference will be given to applicants with financial need.
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits and maintain a minimum of 9 credits to continue to receive the scholarship each term.
Applicants must write and submit a short essay on educational goals and how to improve lives of others and serve as role models for other women.
Apply: Spring term
Awarded: Fall, Winter and Spring terms.
