Mikkelson Computer Science Scholarship Endowment

Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a second year Computer Science student. The recipient should be a degree seeking second year Computer Science student who is enrolled in at least six credits (half time). The recipient must show financial need, be an Oregon resident, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The student does not need to qualify for financial aid using a FAFSA but should demonstrate financial need in the application process.
Awarding of this scholarship is dependent upon available funding.
Recipients will be selected based on the following:
Academic Subject Area: Computer Science
Recipient must show financial need
Must be Oregon Resident
Requires a minimum GPA of 2.5
Student’s year at LBCC when receiving award: Second Year LBCC
Scholarships can be used for: Tuition/fees, books, childcare, living expenses and/or special needs.
Award Amount: $800
Number of Awards available: 1
Student can receive scholarship multiple times
Apply during Spring Term
Enrollment requirement per term: minimum 6 credit hours
Term(s) award to be paid: Fall, Winter and Spring
