The Frances M. Gibbs Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Frances M. Gibbs, who was denied an education herself, put two girls through college during the Great Depression and told all six of her grandchildren that getting an education was the most important thing a person could do. Her granddaughter, Rosemary Bennett, listened and it made all the difference in her life.

This endowment will fund a single scholarship, or multiple scholarships, for half-time enrolled student(s), dependent on funding. Preference will be given to a student(s) who are part of an under-represented minority or disabled. Awards may be used for, but not limited to, tuition/fees, books, living expenses and/or special needs.

Recipient(s) must show financial need. Student(s) must be enrolled half-time (6 credits or more). DPP and International students are eligible. Minimum GPA is 2.75 for transfer students and 2.5 for professional technical students.
