David Jordan Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Established in 1989 in memory of David Jordan to support a West or South Albany High School graduates, in that order, although the award of the scholarship shall not be limited to graduates of those institutions. The scholarship is for students who will be attending LBCC in the field of mechanical, metals, or agricultural related fields of study (Agricultural Business Management, Agriculture, General Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Technology, Animal Technology: Dairy Management, Animal Technology: Horse Management, Horticulture, CNC Machinists, Heavy Equipment Diesel Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Nondestructive Testing, Welding). NOTE: Students in an extended high school program are not eligible.
Recipients will be selected based on the following:
May be a dual-enrollment student
Requires a minimum GPA of 2.75
Student’s year at LBCC when receiving award: No preference. Incoming high school students are eligible.
Students in the LBCC/OSU Degree Partnership Program must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits at LBCC (only 100 and 200 level OSU courses count toward full-time enrollment.)
A thank-you letter to the LBCC Foundation is required. Attendance at the scholarship honors reception is strongly encouraged.
Scholarships can be used for: tuition/fees, books, childcare, living expenses and/or special needs
