Nancy and Jim Goode Endowment for the Future

The Nancy and Jim Goode Endowment was created and funded by Molly O’Hearn. She chose to name it the “Nancy and Jim Goode Endowment” acknowledging their long service and support to the college and to the community and their close relationship to her family. The endowment provides funds for students who received their GED through LBCC and
seek to further their education there. The endowment is intended to provide scholarships to students who have completed their GED and are taking credit classes at LBCC. Student(s) must have received a GED from LBCC and will be enrolling, or currently enrolled, in LBCC credit classes.

Recipients who continue to take credit classes at LBCC for a second year are given priority to renew the scholarship award. Awards may be used for, but not limited to, education related expenses such as tuition/fees, books, living expenses and/or special needs.
