Hilda M. Jones Business/Communications Scholarship Endowment

Hilda M. Jones Scholarship: Full time student in Business or Communications, who are residents of Linn or Benton counties with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better, and shows financial need as defined by FAFSA. Preference will be given to students who have completed 24 credits and are aspiring to achieve a Bachelors degree.
Academic Subject Area: Arts, Humanities, Social Science, and Business
Recipient must show financial need
Must be Oregon Resident
Must be a Linn or Benton Co. resident
Applications only from residents of Linn or Benton County.
May be a dual-enrollment student
Requires a minimum GPA of 2.75
Student’s year at LBCC when receiving award: No Preference
Business or Communications majors. Preference will be given to students who have at least 24 college credits. The scholarship is to help a serious student get started on a Bachelor’s Degree. .
Scholarships can be used for: Tuition, fees, and/or books
Award Amount: $1,200

Apply during Winter Term
Enrollment necessary to receive award: Full-time
Enrollment requirement per term: 12 or more credit hrs.
