Dan and Daisy Ashton Scholarship Endowment

Established in 1995 to provide support by loan or grant for LBCC students of any age who are residents of the Sweet Home Unified School District.
NOTE: Students in an extended high school program are not eligible.
Recipients will be selected based on the following:
Academic Subject Area: Any subject area
Recipient must show financial need
Must be Oregon Resident
Must be a Linn or Benton Co. resident
Must be Sweet Home High School senior or resident of Sweet Home School District.
Requires a minimum GPA of 2.5
Available to High School Seniors (restrictions may apply).
Student’s year at LBCC when receiving award: No Preference
Preference given to applicants in the community who have participated in community activities who have a high school diploma, GED, or who successfully pass the ability to benefit test. Application must also have Student Budget Form included.
Scholarships can be used for: Tuition/fees, books and/or living expenses
Award Amount: $4,500 paid equally over three terms
Number of Awards available: 7
Apply during Spring Term
Enrollment requirement per term: 12 or more credit hours
Term(s) award to be paid: Fall, Winter, Spring
