Dr. Robert L. Smith Scholarship Endowment

Scholarship for LBCC students working toward an Associate Degree in the Sciences (to include only Biological Sciences, Chemistry, General Science and Physics) or Mechatronics.
Recipients will be selected based on the following:
May be a dual-enrollment student
Requires a minimum GPA of 2.75
Student’s year at LBCC when receiving award: Second Year LBCC
Students in the LBCC/OSU Degree Partnership Program must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits at LBCC (only 100 and 200 level OSU courses count toward full-time enrollment.)
A thank-you letter to the LBCC Foundation is required. Attendance at the scholarship honors reception is strongly encouraged.
Scholarships can be used for: tuition/fees, books, childcare, living expenses and/or special needs
Award Amount: $980
Number of Awards available: 1
Apply during Spring Term
Enrollment requirement per term: 12 or more credit hours
Term(s) award to be paid: Fall, Winter
