Corvallis Community Thrift Shop Scholarship

Started in 1949, the OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop was created by the OSU community to initially swap children’s clothing. Over the next 70 years, the Shop has been established as a non-profit and is a beloved institution in the community. The Shop is 100% volunteer run and all processes go back to the community in the form of scholarship awards and grants to local non-profits. The Shop’s scholarship committee made the decision to establish a scholarship for student at LBCC in 2023. They are now known as Corvallis Community Thrift Shop.

Scholarship is open to any degree seeking student at LBCC with a preference given to students returning after a break in their education. Student must be enrolled full time. Recipient must be a resident of Linn or Benton counties. Minimum 2.00 GPA. Student may a DPP student, must maintain at least 6 credits at LBCC
