Zonta Service Foundation - Rusnak & Zonta STEM scholarship
Applications are being accepted for Zonta Club STEM scholarships made possible by fundraising and donations
to the Zonta Club of Corvallis.
Award amount: $3000
Award paid: fall, winter, spring
Applicants for a Zonta Stem scholarship must meet the following qualifications:
1. Be committed to a career in science, technology, engineering, or math. Preference will be given to applicants
entering a field or profession where women are underrepresented.
2. Be dedicated to improving the lives of others and serving as a role model for other women. Students with
volunteer or work experience that demonstrate these interests will be given preference.
3. Be living in Oregon and currently enrolled for a minimum of 12 credits at LBCC. Preference will
be given to applicants demonstrating financial need

- In the essay, applicants should provide a summary of their background and prior experiences that led them to choose their academic major. Career goals, career opportunities in their field of study, and the responsibilities their career may require should also be described. In addition, applicants should indicate how they propose to improve the lives of others and/or serve as a role model for other women.
