Zonta Service Foundation - Kathleen F. and Edward H. Memorial Scholarship

Zonta Service Foundation of Corvallis is accepting scholarship applications. A $1500 scholarship is being
offered in memory of Kathleen F. and Edward H. Heath, both were educators and supporters of Zonta and its
mission. The scholarship is $500 per term to help cover tuition, fees, books, and supplies.

CRITERIA
Applicants for the scholarship must:
1. Be currently enrolled students at Linn Benton Community College who resumed their
studies after a minimum one-year break in their education (the gap may
be between high school and college). Preference will be given to older-than-average students,
students with family responsibilities, and those with financial need.
2. Have demonstrated an interest in working to improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health
or professional status of women or have demonstrated a willingness to work in a job or profession
involving the welfare of children and women.
3. Be enrolled at LBCC and making satisfactory progress. Applicants should be planning to enroll
for at least 9 credits per term for the length of the scholarship.
4. Be residing in Oregon
