Lyndall Johnson Nursing Endowment

Lyndall Johnson graduated from Albany High School in 1950 and went to Emmanuel Hospital in Portland Oregon to become a nurse. Lyndall then pursued her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Pacific Lutheran University. Later in her nursing career she completed a master’s degree from Oregon State University in Public Health Education and began teaching in the nursing program at Linn-Benton Community College and worked at various hospitals in the area. Lyndall ended her nursing career in home health serving the greater county area.

Scholarship priority will be given to applicants in the nursing program with demonstrated unmet financial need.
Awards are renewable for a second year.
Scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, books, transportation, and living expenses.
Enrollment requirement: minimum 8 credits
Award amount: $2,100

Apply during fall term
Term award to be paid: winter and spring
Student must submit a thank you letter and attend the annual Scholarship Reception
