Bonnie McCullum/Sweet Home Elks Scholarship
Bonnie McCollum, former Chair of the Sweet Home Elks Trustees, has contributed greatly to her community with lots of hard work and dedication. Bonnie is an example that Elks care and that Elks share. This is a scholarship for an East Linn County resident who is a full-time student seeking a degree or certificate in a Career and Technical Program. FAFSA is not required, financial need to be determined by student’s budget sheet included with their application.
Recipients will be selected based on the following:
Academic Subject Area: Any major
Recipient must show financial need
East Linn County resident
Requires a minimum GPA of 2.50 GPA
Available to High School Seniors (restrictions may apply).
A thank-you letter to the LBCC Foundation and attendance at the Foundation Spring Scholarship Reception is expected.
Highly desired for student recipient to meet Elks Lodge members – contact information available via the Foundation Office.
Scholarships can be used for: tuition/fees, books, childcare, living expenses and/or special needs
Award Amount: $1,000
Number of Awards available: 2
Student can receive scholarship multiple times
Apply during Spring Term
Enrollment requirement per term: 12 or more credit hours
